What we’re working on

We’re developing new audio and radio user experiences to attract a new audiences who no longer listen to traditional radio. Everything we work on or do has to be focussed on one primary core group: Our German listeners living at home or abroad. Our aspiration is to create the future of radio for tomorrow and beyond by combining media trends and technologies with the demands of our users. Therefore we help accelerate the workflow around metadata and digitalisation to build future-proof platforms. Developments in the field of AI and machine learning can help us understand existing datasets better than any human could ever do.

What we stand for

We are a creative playground for interested thinkers inside SWR, that enable colleagues to build fitting solutions with transparent workflows to optimise the performance for audio products without the traditional organizational ladder.

For us cloud-first is not a buzzword, but everyday business. By using a modern technology stack we can attack problems faster and better than ever before. It also gives us the opportunity to build prototypes and run experiments without huge investments.
